This is one of my absolute favorite locations for photography! You get mountains, you get trees, you get that glowing sun, and you get flowers, and it is BIG! Which is perfect since you will likely see a lot of other photographers and their clients doing pictures here.
When we met here for Sammie and Mike's first look and bridal session, the day was perfect! Sammie brought a friend with her, and while they were waiting in the car, I walked with Mike down to where we would do their first look photos. As we walked along the road we found a HUGE moose just off the path! He was minding his own business, simply eating and walking about, ignoring all the people taking photos around him. I was hoping so badly that we would get him in our photos, but sadly by the time we had both the bride and groom ready, he had sauntered off into the woods. But I always love seeing wildlife at sessions, especially in the mountains just doing their own thing!
Sammie and Mike are a super easy going couple and were happy to walk all around and go wherever we needed to go to get our beautiful pictures, so we made our way around to plenty of spots and it was so worth it! Check it out...
