it's so nice to meet you!

I love when I meet clients and right off the bat it feels like we could be best friends! Photos can feel a little vulnerable...after all there is a 3rd person up and close with you getting pictures of you playing, cuddling, and kissing your partner! But a unique part of my job is that I get to know you pretty quickly, and I couldn't be more excited to capture your love! I believe it is so important to vibe with your photographer and to like them as a person, because you do spend a lot of time with them through your sessions and on your wedding day!

So here is a little about me!

I have been doing wedding photography for four years, but that was not the start of my passion for capturing love stories! When I was in college, I focused on getting a 4 year degree in illustration. I loved telling all types of stories; stories that make you laugh, and smile, and make you tear up, but my favorite stories to tell were love stories! I focused my entire senior project about telling a beautiful life long love story between a couple, from the moment they met to the end of their lives together. Now, alongside all that I had always loved photography. I had considered changing my major, but never actually did. It wasn't until a few years after graduating that I bought a camera and decided to try it out. Immediately I was obsessed. I wanted to create images, capture REAL stories for people. But my passion hadn't changed. I wanted to capture love stories for couples...for you.

So here I am, sitting four years into it and am still completely obsessed with my job! And while I love my job, I am nothing without my family. I have an amazing husband of 3 years, and a beautiful daughter who is almost one, and I love them more than anything in this world. As a family we love to travel and go on adventures. It looks a little different now with a baby girl than it used to, but it is still so fun going out and seeing the world. I can't wait to show our daughter all the amazing beauty and kindness the world has to offer!

I love hiking and climbing, and am a certified yoga instructor. I love anything outdoors, especially the sky and stars. So much so, that we even named our little girl after them! So there is a little bit about me!
